A new brand story

At a significant time of building industry change, and a new Strategic Plan (Vision 27), the Victorian Building Authority needed to tell the story of the industry regulator they were set to become.  We helped get their crucial story clear on how they were changing and why it mattered.

Working with the Executive and Communications Team to bring to life a new ‘story’ for the VBA meant we needed to truly understand how they wanted to be perceived as a regulator.

We ran workshops with the executive that explored the link between the Strategy’s new direction and the Story of who VBA was and what they do.  As part of A VBA ‘Brand Book’ we devised a new brand narrative and brand values, and a key message framework with proof points and a rollout strategy that would help embed the story across all internal and stakeholder touchpoints. 

Supporting advice to the team was provided to help them make decisions about how they could navigate the major changes in communication needs and methods as a result of the organisation’s new Vision.
